AVAD LLC, a member for the National Council of the Housing Industry (NCHI), and the D2B program played a major role in transforming NAHB’s The New American Home at the 2005 International Builders’ Show in Orlando  Florida, into an outstanding showcase of modern living technology. NAHB’s  The New American Home’s chief aim is to spotlight emerging trends in home building by designing a lifestyle-centered plan integrating home automation technology with energy- and materials-conscious home construction techniques.
